112358AR trying to keep Dizzy from falling on her. Before Amber Rust took her place as Queen of her hive, she was just one of two possible queens who had to duke it out for the throne. But her direct rival didn't actually seem to want to win although she was certainly smart enough to figure out how. Amber Rust did not like the idea of killing her, so instead she offered her a different set of options. Leave, or stay and be sterilized. To her surprised, her rival chose the latter. And that's Dizzy. The workers gave her that nickname since the drugs they give her make her groggy and wobbly and she wanders around the hive like that.

Yeah, that's his brother! Peter's brother is a perfectly normal human being, because Peter himself would have been a normal human being, had his mother not had an unfortunate run in with some magic while she was pregnant with him. The two don't properly meet each other until they're both grown and have lived very different lives. Neither really knows what to do with the other. Peter hates being petted on the head, it reminds him of when he was younger and about the size of a large dog and got petted as a way of condescending to him. He lets his brother do it, because he doesn't want to scare him off.

Sornal has never had any great affection for his father Noen. He's a very cheerful outgoing man and Sornal finds that annoying, on top of the problems they had between them anyway. Noen hasn't always done right by Sornal, but it doesn't matter if he apologizes, unfortunately, since Sornal has a tendency to hold a grudge. Also, Sornal got tired of him commenting on his height when he was 12 and reached the same height as his father.

When Seekali first met Enka, she thought she was a guy. A really weird one, since she's a little feminine, but not nearly as much as her brother is effeminate, and her voice rarely rises above a hoarse whisper (from an old injury) which gave her the impression that Enka was trying to be suave. That persisted for a rather long time, actually.
